Roger Federer Finishes the year as World No.5

The 2020 tennis season has officially ended and Roger Federer is still World No.5, despite resting the most of 2020 due to knee surgeries. 



Tournament Played

Roger Federer played only at Australian Open 2020, reaching Semifinals and lost to Novak Djokovic due to groin injury. 
He displayed brilliant game at the Australian open saving 5 match points against John Millman and 7 match points against Tennys Sandgren respectively. 
Indeed a mind blowing performance as a 38 year old.
 

History Maker

Federer also registered 100 match wins at the Australian Open. Also the oldest man to reach the Australian Open Semifinals. 
He is a history maker and history breaker, breaking and recreating his own records.
