The Prometheus Of Tennis

In the gleaming sky shines the golden clock of Kronos, God of Time. 

One day, a man  from the nation that loves watches, 

Sneaks into his kingdom and decides to tinker with his Great Gear. 

He begins to turn the golden hands of the clock, faster and faster, making time turn back ...

2017 .... 2007 ... 

The man in question, a brilliant and old tennis player, then performs the unthinkable for any sportsman: 

he revives  the performance of youth in his maturity.

Turns his forehand and backhand  into flaming rays, 

Float on the court, dazzling like the young man he used to be! 

He challenges Logic! the sciences of aging and defies time!

He turned the court into his stage and displayed elegance with grace!

Kronos, furious, looks from above the tennis player who insulted him screaming:

"How does this mortal dare subvert my Laws?"

And the timeless tennis player responds to the God:

- On court I make my own time! And my own laws!


The Olympus God furious and astonished... 

And in the meantime, this old tennis player follows and wins both the young and the mature, 

Climbs to the top! Raises his golden trophy to the skies!

In tears while he was rejoicing the victory..

Kronos, shocked and desolate murmurs to himself “Maybe he is immortal too”

He watching the "young hero":

Questioned the world

- How could he ??

And I, at this moment, replied to the Lord of Time:

- Nobody knows Kronos ... nobody knows ..


To the Champion whom even Time cannot stop!

Roger Federer Finishes the year as World No.5 The 2020 tennis season has officially ended and Roger Federer is still World No.5, despite resting the most of 2020 due to knee surgeries.  Tournament Played Roger Federer played only at Australian Open 2020, reaching Semifinals and lost to Novak Djokovic due to groin injury.  He displayed brilliant game at the Australian open saving 5 match points against John Millman and 7 match points against Tennys Sandgren respectively.  Indeed a mind blowing performance as a 38 year old.   History Maker Federer also registered 100 match wins at the Australian Open.
